A few weeks ago, we randomly decided to clean a teacher's classroom for her. When we got there, there was a lot of laminating on her table--a project that took three of us an hour to finish (It reminded Mrs. Forsberg about The Shoemaker and the Elves Story). Some of us made flowers out of paper and put them in a real vase. Emily made an awesome sign for the door area that says really nice things about the teacher, Mrs. T. In the morning, when she arrived, she was VERY happy. That was fun, and we hope to do it again one day.
This week, we set up two water stations for the kids who are training for the Bellin Run. It was a warm, windy day, and they really appreciated the drinks, as well as the support. It was fun, and we got to meet Kira's dog :)
Last week, we got sweatier than usual, doing clean-up yard work in the middle school courtyard. It's really looking better in there, and it's only going to improve. Stay tuned for final pics, but here's some of our efforts.
So, as you can see, we've been BUSY. Our last meeting is next week--We're going to the Tundra Lodge!!
